Jim Rohn – Death of a Legend

Jim Rohn – Death of A Great Man!

Thank you Jim, no one could have said it better!

Jim Rohn has passed away. If you do not know his work, it’s never too late to become inspired. If you know him, what a great time to celebrate the teachings of this great teacher.

Here’s one of my all time favorite Jim Rohn video’s. It’s called “Avoid Being Broke and Stupid.”

Hailed as one of the most influential thinkers of our time, Jim Rohn knows the secrets of success in business and life. Jim’s compelling presentation will awaken the unlimited power of achievement within you as you.

He was an outstanding and very powerful motivational speaker.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Jim!

WordPress plugin heaven!

This post is for all the php folks (mostly men) working hard out there to develop all the wordpress plugins that I used to build my site 🙂

I am not quite sure what inspires you but whatever it is Deb George wants to let you know that you are “priceless.” These folks help to keep a sista’s business in order.

They help to organize, update, analyse and keep fresh your wordpress blog, which is what this site is (a wordpress site). They are also, for the most part, readily available to answer questions, if a sista working from home needs a bit help with getting it to work right. I can’t thank you enough. I can drop a 5 in your paypal account, however, that would not even suffice.

If you haven’t noticed, this site is full of wordpress plugins that help with the functionality of this site. In addition to that, I’ve also learned a thing a two about php code. “How wonderful it feels to be educated.” A special thanks to the following:

* Subcribe to comments
* adsense manager
* dd-formmailer **I really like Matt.
* digitalfingerprint
* searcheverything

*Lucy’sLinkLove
* wordpressqueen **Special thanks to Lorelle (She doesn’t even know me yet:)
* postteaser

* sociable
* sk2
* sharethis

I have a great deal of admiration for the php folks. That php stuff is WICKED complicated. You guys inspire me to keep pressing ahead. If you can use your free time to develop these wordpress plugins and ask only for a nugget in your paypal account, I can certainly use my time to dedicate a post to show my appreciation and gratitude.

KUDO’s to the wordpress plugin folks! You deserve that and much more…

Update: I just found THE most adorable plugin EVER. If you take a look at my archives page you’ll see it in action. It’s a snazzy little plugin that makes your archives page dazzle. You can get it here:

BIG SHOUT OUT to Vladimir Prelovac for making this wordpress plugin. YOU ROCK DUDE!

Are We Really Ignoring Those Iphone Ads!

Creative Commons License photo credit: petrr

I found a great post @ ReadWriteWeb that talks about women ignoring the ads that pop up all over the Iphone.

My question to you is “Is this true? Do you ignore those advertisements?” I do. IMHO, they are quite annoying.  Most of the applications that I have on my phone consists of some form of annoying ass ads popping up that have no relevance to what I am trying to accomplish.

Perhaps, if they ads on the Iphone were more centered around the application in which we were using, they would get more of us to respond. Anyway, what do you think?

Go read the article at ReadWriteWeb (which is full of fantastic and interesting stuff), think about what you do and get back to me and let me know. Let’s start a conversation about it.
